Client Requirements
Following the successful delivery of the first-floor refurbishment for Ward & Burke, Talbutt Interiors were invited back to transform the ground floor for Yorkshire Storm Alliance. Their vision was to create a bold, functional, and inspiring workspace that reflected the energy of their brand while providing all the facilities their growing team required.
Solution
To start we developed a full design and build package to make the most of the available space while incorporating unique, brand-led details.
A series of offices and meeting rooms were constructed using a combination of solid walls and glass partitions, balancing privacy with an open feel. Company branding was brought to life with striking wall finishes and bespoke manifestations throughout.
The breakout space became a real talking point, with an exposed sprayed ceiling and creative use of real materials and components from the water system repurposed into the design. A brand-new kitchen was installed, complete with feature lighting and a bespoke made oak veneer sign showcasing the Yorkshire Storm Alliance logo.
The bathrooms, gym, and changing rooms were fully refurbished with fresh, modern finishes designed to enhance both functionality and style.
In the reception area, a moss feature wall created a stunning focal point, complemented by new flooring, decoration, and soft furnishings.
A bespoke-built trophy cabinet was installed on the stairway leading up to Ward & Burke, designed to proudly display many company achievements. The stairs themselves were painted in brand colours for a seamless connection between the two spaces.
Full power and lighting installations were carried out, with carefully planned layouts to suit each area. Feature lighting was added to highlighted key spaces and enhance the overall design.
Furniture installation completed the project, carefully chosen to balance comfort and functionality. Together with the bold branding, bespoke joinery, and high-quality finishes. The result is a ground floor working space that feels dynamic, professional and true to Yorkshire Storm Alliances identity.
